Back in 2020, Shenzhen-based Qysea Technology presented the FIFISH V6 underwater drone, the successor of the FIFISH P3. Now, the company has unveiled the latest iteration of the award-winning V6 series, the FIFISH V6 EXPERT, equipped with all-new multi-attachable tooling capabilities.
FIFISH V6 EXPERT is a professional-class underwater robot and multi-capable tool for enhancing your underwater missions and operations. The drone delivers an upgraded build and performance from its predecessor, increased protection against corrosion and sand, all the while applying its patented design to achieve 360-degrees of underwater mobility. The V6 EXPERT can be equipped with an onshore power supply system that delivers optimal diving performance and operating time.
The EXPERT shares many of its key features with the base version, including six thrusters for 360-degree omnidirectional maneuverability, a maximum depth rating of 100 meters (328 feet), and the ability to travel 4.9 feet per second.
The underwater drone has a tougher body and a 14400mAh super-capacity lithium battery that allows it to operate for up to five hours on a single charge. There’s also an optional onshore power supply, in case you need it to spend even more time in the deep.
The V6 EXPERT can capture 4K video at up to 30 fps per second, which is more than adequate for underwater shooting. It also sees a boosted filming experience with a pair of 6000 Lumen LED lights, as well as a removable 128 GB SD card slot to easily transfer out images and films from the ROV.
The new V6 EXPERT features a new interface mount that will let you attach all manner of optional tools, like a robotic arm, water sampler, hydrophone, or a mini circular underwater saw, just to name a few. The tools will allow explorers as well as professionals across the fields of offshore energy, aquaculture, shipping, and subsea construction to ultimately elevate their underwater operating experiences.
