Japanese startup Xenoma showcases “e-skin EMStyle Professional,” the electrical muscle stimulation suit at CES 2021. This comfortable, fashionable, and effective suit enables fitness trainers to send individualized stimulation levels to their clients’ bodies to optimize the effectiveness of their workout.
The cableless e-skin EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) suit provides stable electrical stimulation to a wearer’s body via 24 electrodes, so the body can get the effect of a full workout from just 20 minutes of light exercise. This helps you exercise efficiently in a short time.
The suit can be used indoors and outdoors, and the user can control the levels of stimulation through the smartphone app. Additionally, the fitness trainers can adjust stimulation for up to 20 different suits at the same time that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. It can be used in combination with training equipment and various types of fitness menus such as running, yoga, and Pilates.
The e-skin EMStyle weighs about 160 grams and has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The EMStyle hub connector snaps easily on and off. The suit is machine washable and can be used in consideration of infection control in coronavirus pandemic.

The e-skin EMStyle Professional suit is scheduled for a global release in March. There is also a “for-gym” version of “e-skin EMStyle Personal,” a smart home workout suit that is slated for an April release.
