Smalo unveils AI-powered e-bikes, LX2 and PX2

Due to the rise in carbon emissions by using non-renewable resources, many people are switching to sustainable alternatives. E-bikes have gained significant popularity in recent years as a sustainable mode of transportation.

E-bikes rely on both human and electric energy to propel. E-bikes can be a great alternative to cars for urban mobility. Many e-bike manufacturers provide new technology to the bike to make riding more convenient and comfortable. As a result, new bikes give a more extended range, higher payload capacity, and many features.

Now, Smalo has unveiled its two bikes, LX2 and PX2, a city electric bike with an AI driving system that automates the journey.

The Smalo LX2 and PX2 are integrated with the 250W front motor with a Smalo AI drive system that offers auto shifting and a bike top assist speed of 20 mph (32 km/h).

The LX2 e-bike is powered by a 504 Wh removable battery that provides a range of up to 74 miles (119 km), and the battery can be fully charged within 3 hours and 40 minutes with the help of a 4A charger.

The bike measures 1885 mm long, 680 mm wide, and 1055 mm high. The LX2 has a 28-inch wheel and has Schwalbe Big Apple Perf and Racegurad 50-622 tires. The Smalo LX2 e-bike is made of an Aluminium frame and weighs 51.1 lb (23kg). The bike is suitable for riders of height 5ft 8 inches to 6 ft 4 inches.

The PX2 e-bike is powered by a 365Wh removable battery that gives the bike a full range of up to 50 miles (80km) in a single-charged battery that can be charged within 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Smalo PX2 measures 1535mm long, 620mm wide, and 1060mm high and has a wheel size of 20 inches with CST C1854 1.95-inch-wide tires.

Moreover, both bikes are equipped with the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes for unparalleled stopping performance and control.

The Smalo bikes also feature a custom built-in 380 Lumen LED at the front and a rear brake light, a Smalo custom bell, and a built-in display with a USB-C port and wireless connectivity.

The bikes can also be connected with the BESV Smart app wirelessly with the help of Bluetooth.

Based on the riding conditions and riding behavior, Smalo AI calculates the route and predicts the range of the bike and how far it can go with the remaining battery level.

The smart mode detects how hard the rider is pedaling and automatically shifts into the right gear so the rider can focus on riding without lifting a finger.

Additionally, both the bikes have an integrated anti-theft system that alerts the rider when the bike deters anyone trying to move the bike and find my bike feature in which you can rider can locate their Smalo bike.

The Smale PX2 and LX2 bikes are available on their official website at the price tag of $2580 and $2680, respectively.
