1930s-inspired stylish leisure car, Rodster

Vrbové-based car manufacturer Patak Motors has unveiled its 1930s-inspired car, Rodster, with all the essential features of a perfect city companion.

The Rodster is available in two power drive systems. That includes the combustion engine and the electric version.

The Rodster electric car version features a permanent-magnet synchronous motor. A 15kW power gives the car a maximum speed of 130 km/h (80 MPH). The car also can accelerate from zero to 50 km/h (31 MPH) in just 7 seconds.

The electric Rodster comes in two variants, version 1 and version 2. Version 1 is powered by a 10kWh battery that gives the car a full range of up to 100 km (62 miles). Version 2 is powered by a 20kWh battery and offers a range of up to 250km (155 miles).

The combustion engine version of the Rodster is equipped with the four-stroke water cooling, one-cylinder four valves overhead camshaft (OHC) engine. The engine can reach zero to 50 km/h (31 MPH) in 9 seconds. The ICE version of the car can go at a maximum speed of up to 125 km/h (77 MPH).

The Rodster ICE version has a fuel tank capacity of 35 liters, and the car can provide an average of 18-20 km (11-12 miles) per liter.

The Rodster car measures 3360 mm long, 1360 mm high, and 1395 mm wide. It weighs 450 kg and seats two people, including the driver.

The Patak’s 1930s-inspired car has four disc brakes, ABS, three-point self-retracting seat belts, and an immobilizer.

The Rodster’s unique chassis – with particular suspension components developed by Patak Motors – provides a smooth ride even on bumpy surfaces.
