Unlike the Samsung and Apple foldable smartphones, the Mate X’s flexible screen folds outside and covers the front and back of the device. The device becomes an 8-inch tablet screen so that you can have an exceptional multitasking experience.
The most interesting part you will be eager to know is that it offers a foldable screen with no gap, which other companies are unable to achieve.
Richard Yu, the chief executive of Huawei’s consumer business, said the Mate X represented “a voyage into the uncharted”. “As a new breed of smartphones, Huawei Mate X combines 5G, foldable screen, AI and an all-new mode of interfacing to provide consumers with unprecedented user experience,” he said.
Simply, fold it to use as a daily use smartphone and unfold it whenever you want to have any multitasking experience or any entertainment.
Huawei Mate X is the thinnest and lightest foldable smartphone so far. When you open it, it is 5.4mm thick at its thinnest point. And when folded, it has a thickness of 11mm.
Undoubtedly, Mate X can be the best answer to the questions of a smartphone user who demands a bigger screen and a long battery life.
It comes with flexible FullView OLED Display. When folded, the device has a 6.6-inch OLED front screen and 6.4-inch screen at its back. Whereas, when it unfolds, it turns into a combined 8-inch OLED tablet screen. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Along with foldable screen, Mate X has 4,500mAh battery and supports a fastest charging Technology (55W version), that enables the phone to be charged to 85% in just 30minutes. It also features a fingerprint sensor built into its power key to ensuring a secure unlocking of your device.
