FIIDO D11, an ultra-light folding e-bike with a range of 100 km

Electric bicycles are difficult to transport in the car or on the train – folding bikes are a possible solution. However, they usually only offer a very limited range. The FIIDO D11 wants to solve this problem. According to the manufacturer, it is the world’s first folding e-bike with a range of 100 km.

The new folding e-bike FIIDO D11 consists of an ultra-light frame and weighs 12.9 kg. With wonderful performance, ultra-long mileage, and comfortable riding, it will definitely become the milestone of city folding e-bikes. The aluminum alloy frame guarantees easy urban travel and reflects the aesthetics of the simple fashion of modern people. Additionally, professional ergonomic bike design ensures excellent riding experience.

From a technical point of view, the Red Dot Award-winning e-folding bike is equipped with a 250 watt rear wheel hub motor and supports pedaling up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph). According to the manufacturer, the 410 Wh battery hidden in the frame should enable support of up to 100 km (62 miles) in eco mode.

Therefore, full electric, FIIDO D11 will allow you to move practically anywhere, on a single charge. This also means that in assisted pedaling mode, the bicycle will be able to reach much greater distances, practically record-breaking.

The anti-theft bicycle battery is inserted inside the seat post and can be easily removed to be able to recharge comfortably at home or in the office. There is no indication of the charging time yet; with similarly sized batteries, the charging process usually takes about 2.5 hours.

In addition to the three levels of pedal support, the FIIDO D11 has a 7-speed Shimano gearshift; built-in LED lights, 20-inch wheels, internally routed cables, and disc brakes on the front and rear wheels. Finally, the bike is characterized by a mechanism that allows you to fold it in just 5 seconds. Fenders are not pre-assembled.

At the time of this writing, orders have not yet been opened. The D11 will benefit from a launch on the Indiegogo platform in the coming weeks. Reservations will begin in July when the fundraising campaign is launched. Pre-orders will receive a 38% discount on the future retail price of $1,299, so the bike will only cost $799.
