Fezzari unveils new fat tire electric bike, Explorer Peak

The American bicycle company Fezzari has unveiled their new fat tire electric bike, Explorer Peak, engineered with all-terrain capabilities that can go from bustling urban streets to sandy beaches and even snow-covered trails.

The Explorer Peak is available in two configurations, Comp and Elite.

The Elite bike is equipped with the Shimano EP801 mid-drive motor, and the bike gets its power from a massive Shimano 720-Wh integrated battery and SRAM GC Eagle 12-speed gearset.

The Comp bike is packed with the EP600 motor system. A 720-Wh Shimano battery powers the motor of the bike. Also, a Shimano CUES 11-speed cassette helps the shuffle between gears quickly. Battery of both the e-bikes are configurable and can be extended up to 835 Wh.

Both bikes are entirely made of carbon frame, giving the bike unique strength and weight advantages. The bike’s frame also features internal cable routing to hide all the cables and protect them from cutting and braking.

The e-bikes also feature 27.5-inch wheels sporting 4.5-inch-wide Maxxis Colossus fat tires and TRP Trail EVO hydraulic disc brakes that provide stopping power to the bikes with 180-mm rotors.

Additional specifications of the bike, such as range and speed, are still not revealed.

Both bikes are available in four sizes- S, M, L, and XL; hence, riders can choose the bike according to height. The Explorer Peak Comp and Elite are available to pre-order on their official website. The Comp variant is priced at $4599, and the Elite variant is $5499.

Fezzari will deliver the Explorer Peak Comp and Elite bikes in 2024.
