NJ-based Panasonic Corporation of North America announced the new generation of the EVERVOLT Home Battery System. This modular residential energy storage system supports DC and AC coupling. It is an adaptable solution for new and existing solar installations.
Panasonic EVERVOLT battery storage system provides a complete Home Battery System. Solar panels usually produce more electricity than we use in a day. EVERVOLT stores that additional energy and uses that energy when the power goes out, at night, or during peak rate hours.
Panasonic’s new integrated energy storage solution combines a hybrid inverter, lithium-ion battery, and the new EVERVOLT SmartBox.
EVERVOLT Home Battery System offers a maximum 18kWh lithium-ion battery capacity. Up to four EVERVOLT Batteries can be stacked to a single EVERVOLT SmartBox to achieve up to 30kW of power and 72kWh of usable energy to provide maximum power and meet even the heaviest energy demands.

EVERVOLT has a flexible design enables easy installation with new or existing solar panel systems and generators. It also includes Wi-Fi monitoring systems to check usage, backup power, charge or discharge levels, net metering, and more with an easy-to-use app. Homeowners can track battery levels, view energy usage data, and see tips and suggestions on troubleshooting errors. In addition, the EVERVOLT Home Battery System can receive firmware updates in real-time via over-the-air (OTA) software for continuous optimization.
The new EVERVOLT Home Battery System also features multiple operating modes, including backup mode, self-use mode, time-of-use mode, and custom modes, which can be set through the mobile app.
EVERVOLT Home Battery System can connect up to 15,200W solar modules to three maximum power point trackers for higher yields and flexible design. It can provide up to 7.6 kW of continuous backup power in a single EVERVOLT Home Battery System, and it is compatible with generators of up to 125A for extended power outages. This new Home Battery System also features black-start functionality to restart your system with solar power after an extended outage.
The EVERVOLT SmartBox is a vital differentiator of the EVERVOLT Home Battery System. It is an all-in-one home energy management device. It has a compact and sleek design, can be installed indoors or outdoors, and can be mounted to either the floor or wall. The Homeowners can connect SmartBox to batteries, home loads, grids, and solar panel systems.
The SmartBox switches to battery backup for power supply during power outages or grid failures. It enables homeowners to control up to six loads (devices connected to the electrical panel) to optimize and maximize backup power for their critical needs.
