Doroni’s electric flying car receives official FAA Airworthiness Certification

Miami-based Doroni Aerospace is developing a two-seat personal eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) vehicle called the Doroni H1.

Recently, the company announced that they have received the official FAA Airworthiness Certification for their eVTOL aircraft. This marks a significant moment in aviation history.

The company claims that they are the first to successfully conduct manned flights with a 2-seater personal flying car in the U.S. The company has not only achieved a technological breakthrough but has also set a new standard in the eVTOL sector.

The Doroni H1 flying car is equipped with state-of-the-art safety features, exceptional maneuverability, and an eco-friendly electric powertrain, offering a new paradigm in personal and sustainable travel.

The all-electric flying car is semi-autonomous with different levels that users can access and maneuver using a controller stick. Its unique design, powered by ten independent propulsion systems, ensures stability during flight. Additionally, its ability to fit into a standard two-car garage makes it a practical and accessible solution for urban commuters.

It has a top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h) and can cruise at 100 mph (160 km/h), making it not just fast but also capable of covering a 60-mile range (96 km). Doroni is targeting a weight of around 930 lb (650 kg), with a payload capacity of 500 lb (200 kg). It takes 15-20 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%.

“Receiving the FAA’s Airworthiness Certification is not just a milestone for our company, but a leap forward for the entire field of personal air mobility,” said Doron Merdinger, CEO of Doroni Aerospace. “The Doroni H1 is poised to redefine urban transportation, offering an eco-friendly, efficient, and exhilarating way to travel. This achievement brings us one step closer to our vision of making personal flight accessible to everyone.”

Doroni Aerospace has a pre-order list of over 370 and is currently in the crucial phase of a funding round on StartEngine, the leading crowd-investing platform. The funding effort will end on December 11 and is essential for the company to move forward in bringing the innovative Doroni H1 from concept to reality.

Investors who are looking to be part of a historic shift in transportation are encouraged to join and invest in this groundbreaking venture. With investment options starting at $500, individuals can contribute through the company’s website.
