HyperScrambler 2, a dual battery e-bike with more than 100 miles range

The Californian company Juiced, well known for its powerful e-bikes, has presented HyperScrambler 2, its latest proposal with Dual battery Capacity that delivers unparalleled riding range, extreme speed and power, and loads of upgraded electric bike components. Never again ride with range anxiety and underwhelming pedal power.

Last year we told you about Juiced Scorpion, a hybrid vehicle that promises up to 120 km (75 miles) range with a head-turning style. Juice Scorpion was later joined by HyperScorpion, another hybrid of electric motorcycle and an e-bike, and now the family welcomes a new model in its category: HyperScrambler 2.

Juiced HyperScrambler 2 stands out, especially for its great power and for equipping double batteries. Thanks to the two 52-volt batteries with a capacity of 19.2 Ah, the new electric bike can travel up to 100 miles (160 km) easily. A custom-designed Bafang Retroblade motor, with a continuous power of 1000 W and peak power of 2000 W, allows the bike to reach speeds over 30 mph (48 km/h).

The e-moped/e-bike hybrid has an Intelligent Dual Battery Balancer that draws power from both packs proportionally, regardless of the charge state of each pack. In addition, it has fast charging so that both the batteries are charged together from 0 to 80% in two hours. The bike without batteries weighs 96 lbs (around 43 kg) and has a weight capacity of 275 lbs (125 kg).

To make riding more comfortable and safer, the HyperScrambler 2 features thick, puncture-resistant tires, robust front and rear suspension systems, and a good-quality comfortable seat. For the rest of the features, we find a double suspension front and rear, hydraulic disc brakes, motorcycle-style LED headlamp, as well as an advanced matrix LCD display. It also includes an alarm system, turn signals, and rearview mirrors.

Of course, such high technical details are not cheap. The bike, which is prepared in two different colors, can be purchased with a single battery pack if desired. The version with one battery pack costs $2,999, while in the dual-battery version, the price rises to $3,999. The company will start taking pre-orders from September 23, with the discounted prices of $2,499 and $2,999, respectively, and deliveries are scheduled for November.
