Meet the new fastest-folding e-bike, the GoCycle GXi

Folding e-bikes have become a sensation among lovers of this means of transport since its invention. There are several brands dedicated to the development of this type of bicycle. GoCycle is one of such brands, providing its customers with excellent designs with high-quality materials and resistance.

The British brand announces the arrival of a new variant “the GoCycle GXi”. The GXi is distinguished by its slightly higher autonomy and advanced equipment. Introduced at the Birmingham Motor Show, the GoCycle GXi is an advanced version of the current GX that keeps most of its mechanisms hidden inside the frame.

The bike can be folded into a compact package in just 10 seconds.

With the same frame and the same patent folding system as its older brother, the GXI replaces the GX’s manual gearshift with an automated device based on a technology known as the CleanDrive. GXi’s fast-folding frame enables users to fold the bike in just 10 seconds. The sleek design and sophisticated colors make the electric bicycle a stylish and convenient way to cycle through the city.

The GXi weighs around 38.6-pound (17.5 kg) with wheels made of magnesium that provide ideal support for the aluminum frame. The frame houses a removable 375 Wh battery pack, which offers a range of up to 50 miles (80 km) and takes four hours to charge. Besides, all electronics are elegantly routed through the frame giving a clean, stylish, design that does not attract dirt. The bike is perfect for storing in the office or in tight city living spaces.

For anyone interested in buying it, the e-bike is available for pre-order in three colors (matte black, white, or gunmetal gray), with prices starting at £3,699 / €4,199 / $4,799 and deliveries beginning early next year.
