Engwe unveils all-terrain folding e-bikes, the X-Series

Many people prefer electric bicycle over cars, buses, and metro for short-distance travel. E-bikes have the advantages of traditional bikes with a battery-powered motor for added efficiency. E-bikes can provide long-range, speed, and batteries that you can charge in your home or with a charging infrastructure with provided chargers. Many companies make e-bikes according to the needs of the customers.

Chinese electric bikes company, Engwe has launched a new series of all-terrain folding e-bikes, the X-Series, which includes the X20, X24, and X26 e-bikes.

These e-bikes are made from aluminum alloy, and the bike includes Shimano 8-gear transmission system, dual battery, and hydraulic disc brakes. Also, these bikes have alloy pedals and cleats.

These three bikes come with triple suspension, a shock absorber placed in the front hydraulic shock, and a middle mechanical shock to rear air shock. This gives the e-bikes three times more powerful shock absorption capacity than regular e-bikes.

X26 and X24 are very close in terms of specifications. Both bikes come with a 19.2Ah and 10Ah dual Li-ion battery combo. These bikes have a 1200W high-speed brushless motor driven by a 1000W power hub. These bikes generate 70 Nm of torque, which helps the bike reach a top speed of 31 MPH (50 km/h) and a maximum range of 62 miles (100 km). Also, both bikes are integrated with BC281 color display.

The X26 e-bike has 26-inch by 4-inch fat all-terrain tires, the bike’s total weight is 112.44 lbs (51 kg), and the maximum bearing load of the bike is 220 lbs (100 kg). Similarly, the X24 e-bike has 24-inch by 4-inch fat all-terrain tires and the bike’s total weight is 108.7 lbs (49.32 kg), and the maximum load capacity of the bike is 330 lbs (150kg).

The X20 bike has a 1000W high-speed brushless motor driven by a 750W power hub. The bike has dual batteries, including a 14.4Ah and a 7.8Ah li-ion battery, providing the bike with a maximum range of 47 miles (75 km). This bike generates 65 Nm of torque and can go at a top speed of 31 MPH (50 km/h). The total weight of the X20 bike is 102.1 lbs (46.32 kg), and the maximum load capacity of the bike is 330 lbs (150kg). This bike also has a BC281 color display with 20-inch by 4-inch all-terrain tires.

Engwe bikes are also very affordable, with a price starting for the X20 variant at $1599, the X24 variant costs $1799, and the X26 variant is priced at $1899.
