Nanopore-based sensors to diagnose illnesses much faster

UC Riverside scientists have created a nanopore-based tool capable of detecting individual molecules, marking a major advancement in disease diagnostics. Unlike traditional tests that require millions of molecules for detection, this tool can capture signals from just one molecule.
