Z Motorcycle electric concept features a sizable battery into the slim package

A California-based designer Joseph Robinson has presented Z Motorcycle, an electric motorcycle concept that takes its name from the particular shape of its frame. The Z Motorcycle design comes with a modern aesthetic, featuring a smooth, simple and intuitive figure, and unique flowing strokes.

Joseph Robinson is an automotive concept designer who has devoted his time to the design. It is not surprising if the electric motorcycle of the future is born from the hands of a design student who loves automotive for all his life.

Robinson designed a concept electric motorcycle in the shape of later “Z.” In addition to giving the machine its own visual identity, this “Z” shape is also functional. The “Z” graphic starts at the headlight and finds its way down to the rear wheel and also serves as a screen, which can display exciting graphics to elevate its road-going presence. The bike features a fold-away handlebar and footrest and a relatively flat top.

Behind this minimalist design, there is also a removable and interchangeable 30 kWh battery located just behind the front axle, the plug for rapid recharging being placed under the flat seat. With its front and rear LED lighting, the Z Motorcycle would ultimately only need a pair of rearview mirrors and a license plate to ride.

It is just a concept that shows how electric powertrains have the potential to expand the possibilities of design, just like the Polestar SLR electric motorcycle concept.
