Earlier this month, Jump Aero unveiled JA1 Pulse, the first response electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft prototype, which they have worked on since 2019. Now, Jump Aero has received the order for ten JA1 Pulse eVTOL aircraft from Electro Ventures.
Electro Ventures has worked with Jump Aero for many years through one of its companies, Electro Aero. As a result of this relationship, Electro Ventures paid a non-refundable deposit to order ten Jump Aero JA1 Pulse eVTOL aircraft for use in the Australian market and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to represent Jump Aero throughout the Asia Pacific.
Jump Aero’s JA1 Pulse eVTOL aircraft is designed as a one-passenger aircraft to help medical professionals arrive at the scene of a rural emergency as fast as possible with critical lifesaving equipment and save lives. The JA1 Pulse can fly a trained professional and emergency equipment into unimproved landing zones in rural areas.
The Jump Aero JA1 will have a top speed of 250 knots (463 km/h), and it aims to provide the largest coverage radius within the critical 8-minute emergency response window. The eVTOL aircraft will have a maximum payload capacity of 150 kg (331 lb), can be deployed in less than 60 seconds, and should arrive at any location within 50 km in less than 8 minutes.
Electro Ventures believes that Jump Aero eVTOL aircraft can make a significant impact in providing rural emergency medical response for Australian citizens living in remote rural conditions.
