Trek launches Allant+, its most advanced range of e-bikes

Trek presents its new the Allant+ electric bicycle line, a new electric platform that combines thoughtful, sleek design with the performance and reliability of a Bosch drive system. The new e-bikes are aimed especially at urban commuters, who want to cycle more and drive less and also like to travel by a high-quality e-bike that’s as fast on the road as it looks.

The Allant+ lineup consists of 10 bikes. The top range models come with OCLV carbon frame that keeps the bike’s weight surprisingly light – just over 50 lb (23 kg).

In addition, all models are equipped with Trek’s exclusive Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system. The RIB system incorporates a 500Wh or 625Wh Bosch battery completely integrated into the frame of the bike. And if this power is not enough, Trek also offers a Range Boost add-on – a second 500 Wh Bosch battery in the diagonal tube, allowing cyclists to travel twice the distance between each recharge.

All Allant+ models are equipped with either new Bosch Performance Line CX motor or the Bosch Performance Line Speed motor. The former offers assistance of up to 25 km/h (20 mph), making them ideal for fans traveling long distances in Europe, while the latter enables to reach 28 mph in the US or 45 km/h in Europe.

The Allant+ models enable the rider to access the travel data such as the current speed, the battery level, and the remaining autonomy. Each model has a 160mm fork and a 150mm rear travel. They also feature powerful 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and a 12-speed Eagle transmission for even and progressive power delivery.
