Technohull, the Greek yacht manufacturer, has revealed Omega 48, a new yacht with an entirely fresh design philosophy.
The almost 50-footer offers a fresh, modern perspective on comfort, style, and luxury whilst remaining loyal to Technohull’s high-performance DNA. Omega 48 sets new standards in the category, as far as deck space comfort is concerned, thanks to an incredibly wide deck and a 4.72 m beam.
The boat is built with Technohull’s signature Dynastream hull, which features a super deep V shape with twin ventilated steps that will pierce waves and deflect spray. The hull design, coupled with a semi-straight bow, ensures high speeds, maximum efficiency, exceptional seakeeping, and top-notch handling and control at speed, even in harsh conditions.
The Omega 48 will measure 50 feet (15.2 meters) with inboards and 49 feet (14.9 meters) with outboards. Propulsion options range from twin 600-hp motors to no less than five 450-hp engines, with many choices in between. It is also equipped with a new hardtop and a full glass windshield that offer seafarers optimum protection from the elements when sailing.
With a beam of roughly 15.5 feet, the vessel has an incredibly wide deck. The company claims it is the first time ever that a top-notch performance vessel showcases such an incredibly wide deck, leaving no room for compromises.
Omega 48 also boasts a new layout, with the helm station designed with two rows of shock-absorbing seats and a fully equipped console with in-house digital management systems that ensure navigating is a breeze. Additionally, the boat features an aft deck fitted with a large island sunbed that hasn’t been seen before on Technohull fleet members.
The owners can opt for extras, such as a couch and table, a couch with a mini bar, or a fully stocked wet bar. The boat also has a garage aft near the sunbed where the owner can store gear, water toys, and even a small dinghy. The generous cabin below deck is equally stylish and has been outfitted with high-end materials, an oversized double bed, some storage space, and a separate bathroom with a shower.
The order book for the Omega 48 is planned to open within the next few months, and the vessel is expected to launch in mid-2023.
