Sublue Mix Pro underwater scooter can take you to a depth of 40 meters

Being cheap and relatively green alternative, electric scooters took over the streets, and now they are looking to become the king below the water. The Chinese startup Sublue is introducing its latest compact product, on the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2020) in Las Vegas.

The new, improved product, called the Mix Pro, is the smallest double-propeller underwater scooter that can pull you along underwater at speeds up to 1.8 meters per second (4 mph). The dual propellers it uses are claimed to have higher performance compared to units with single propellers already on the market.

It can take you to a maximum depth of 40 meters.

Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Sublue Mix Pro has an extended, 60-minute battery life, and it can recharge its batteries in two hours. The lightweight MixPro also comes with two-speed model selection, buoyancy regulator, and a colorful LED display that shows power consumption, speed levels, and low battery warning.

Another new feature on Mix Pro is the waterproof phone case mount, so users can take selfies and record their adventures through the cellphone camera. The detachable buoyancy tank allows new swimmers to adventure down to 5 meters (16.4 feet) below the surface. And of course, more experienced divers can take the tank off so they can dive deeper. It weighs only 4.5 pounds (2 kg) and can take you to a maximum depth of 40 meters (131 feet).
