Sony’s new truly wireless earbuds offer 9 hours of autonomy

Sony has some of the best devices for sound reproduction, and today it further expands its presence in this niche market. The Japanese company unveiled two new products, the WF-XB700 earbuds with 9 hours of battery life and the WH-CH710N headphones with improved active noise cancellation.

Sony WF-XB700

These wireless earbuds offer us a quite attractive design, different from what we are used to, not only with more rounded shapes but also with the coolest color. It arrives with a more adjusted price since they do not have the noise cancellation.

The Sony WF-XB700 earbuds promise up to nine hours of uninterrupted playback on a single charge. With the accompanying charging case, you can squeeze it out for another 9 hours, the total 18 hours. And if you’re in a hurry, 10 minutes’ quick charging gives you up to 60 minutes of music playback.

These wireless earbuds incorporate two 12mm drivers that boost the bass somewhat higher than usual and comes with touch controls to control music playback, volume, or make and receive voice calls. They also come with water resistance, specifically against sweat and splashes with the IPX4 certification. On the connectivity side, the earphones use Bluetooth 5.0 technology, and each of the earphones establishes an individual connection to the smartphone.

The Sony WF-XB700 will be available for pre-sale this month for $129.99, in black and blue color options.

Sony WH-CH710N

Without a doubt, the most outstanding aspect of these headphones is the active noise cancellation, which reaches levels of perfection in this model. All these thanks to a new Dual Noise Sensor technology that is capable of capturing more ambient sound than ever. In this way, the loudest noises can be canceled even more effectively.

Another coolest feature of WH-CH710N headphones is the battery, which offers no less than 35 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The headphones also support fast charging, which offers 60 minutes of music playback on just 10 minutes of charging.

Sony claims that dual microphones can isolate us almost completely from the surrounding environment, but if you want to listen to the outside world, there is an ambient audio mode.

The drivers are 30mm, and Sony promises they will be very light and portable. The Sony CH710N is available at a price of $199.99 in the only black color and will be available for pre-order from this month.
