Smartron’s Tbike Flex cargo e-bike can carry 40 kg of cargo up to 120 km

After launching the bike One Pro electric bike for the B2B segment, the Indian tech, and fast-rising startup, Smartron has introduced its Tbike Flex, an e-bike and cargo delivery platform for medium-range deliveries and connectivity. Featuring a robust, minimalist, elegant, functional, and ergonomic design, the bike is suitable for long trips without much effort.

The Smartron Tbike Flex combines the features of a rugged cargo bike with futuristic AI and IoT electric technology and comes with many special accessories. It features a simple design that suits both male and female riders. According to the company, the bike allows you to transport, in addition to the driver, a load weighing up to 40 kg within the city. At the same time, it is easily maneuverable in congested traffic, with minimal parking.

Designed to deliver light loads over medium distances, the scooter comes with a flat rack at the rear and a basket at the front to support load-carrying functions. The shipping container is designed to be flexible and can be customized according to the operator’s requirements.

The Tbike Flex cargo e-bike is equipped with a hub-mounted electric motor at the rear wheel, powered by a lithium-ion battery. The company says the electric scooter can reach the top speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph) and has a range from 75 to 120 km (47 to 74 miles) per charge, depending on the model. Thanks to the limited speed, a driver’s license and vehicle registration are not required, making it available to more freight delivery staff.

It is based on tronX technology and offers many individual features with easy integration into the IT systems of logistics partners, e-commerce companies, and food delivery operators, which facilitates real-time business intelligence. The high-density swappable battery packs a high lifecycle of around 1,50,000 km, which enables local delivery systems to function and maintain timelines. Other features include an LED headlamp, upright handlebar, a flat-seat, a solid tube tire with spoke wheels, and a smart padlock, which can be unlocked via the company’s IoT technology.

According to Mahesh Lingareddy, Founder and Chairman of Smartron, Tbike Flex is the ideal platform for delivering food, groceries, and other goods quickly, on time, and at low cost.

The Smartron Tbike Flex electric bike retails at Rs 40,000. It is currently being tested in India and Mexico, as well as several countries in Latin America. Service and after-sales service will be available in different cities of the country through the tcare Smartron platform.
