Silence S02 LS, a new more affordable, low-speed urban electric scooter

The two-wheeled sector is preparing to tackle mobility within the “new normal.” And Silence, the benchmark brand in two-wheel electric mobility, is a leading student. The company led by Carlos Sotelo has launched the Silence S02 LowSpeed (LS), its latest electric scooter model with a speed limit of 45 km/h.

It incorporates a 1,500 W zero-emission electric motor in the rear wheel, and three driving modes are available: City, Sport, and Eco, not counting reverse. Its urban autonomy is announced at 55 km (34 miles). The scooter, whose maximum speed is 45 km/h (30 mph), is equipped with disc brakes, LED lighting.

The two-seat vehicle features a 47 liter storage box in the rear.

The Silence S02 LS also boasts a practical charging system that anyone can comfortably carry out at home, without the need for any specific system. This is possible because its removable 2 kWh battery can be easily transported with a trolley equipped with wheels as if it were a trolley. To recharge it, simply connect it to a simple household power outlet. Also noteworthy is a consumption that is around 60 cents per 100 kilometers, i.e., ten times less than a motorcycle with a combustion engine.
