RETO3D: A Lightweight, affordable 3D filming camera

Photography is an art. 3D images can take your photography to the new level. There are many ways to create a 3D image. I have found a simple but great solution

The Reto Team has launched their first invention called ‘RETO3D’, a small, lightweight and the handy stereo camera.

RETO3D is an expensive, professional camera for everyone. So, don’t worry if you are a beginner. The team has made this camera by merging the three elements of film photography, stereo images, and creative APP.

The RETO3D’s ergonomic and stylish design gives it a different look and makes it stand out of all the other traditional cameras available in the market. Rather using a streamlined look, the team gave it a vintage angular shape. A simple, black frosted body with grain leather creates a fashionable look, giving you the best touch to the camera as well.

How it works?

Other existing cameras have a single lens that can only produce static images, while the RETO3D can create more lively images with 3D effect.

As you can see, it comes with three lenses on its front. Its triple-lens design enables it to simultaneously capture the same object with three slightly different angles. Using the app, it automatically gives the 3D effect to your image by joining the three photos together.

In addition, the built-in flash enables you to capture the shots in both day and night.

It weighs just 178grams (excluding the battery and film) which makes it extremely handy and easy to carry anywhere. Dimensionally,it is 133 (W) x 65 (H) x 42 (D) mm. Plus, it is equipped with 1*AA Alkaline Battery for power supply.

It would be thrilling if you can create a GIF on your own and share it with your friends. But creating a GIF using the complicated photo-editing software like Photoshop may take lots of time. And even after investing this plenty of time cannot get the result we were expecting.

RETO3D is for you! The Reto team has developed a ‘RETO App’ for a smartphone, which helps you make a stereo image in a short time. Once you upload the images to the App and choose a center point, it would stitch the photos together to produce a very natural and smooth 3D GIF.

• Film Format: 35mm
• Film Transport: Manual Wind and Rewind
• Optical Lens: 30mm; f11; 3 Lens (Optical-grade acrylic lenses)
• Focusing: Focus-free; 1m to ∞
• Shutter Release: 1/125s

Also, you can use this App in different filters to extend your creativity to the new level. Filters such as light leak effect and film frame are also available in the App.

So, forget those bulky, complicated, single lens cameras, and your photography in a more expressive way. RETO3D can be your great companion and enables you to capture your memorable moments forever.
