From little ones to older ones, LEGO has no age restrictions to be adored. Now, the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is the newest member of the LEGO Technic family, which offers advanced assembly kits for users who like challenges. The futuristic elegance of the limited-edition Italian supercar will be at your fingertips with a LEGO Technic miniature set that is a feat of engineering and design.
The kit to assemble the vehicle will be available starting June 1st in the United States for $379.99 at the LEGO online store and starting in August through other authorized dealers. The replica of the first hybrid supercar of the Italian company, in vivid lime-green color and elegant golden rims, the model measures over 5″ (13cm) high, 23″ (60cm) long and 9″ (25cm) wide. It comes with 3,696 parts that can be used to assemble the vehicle. Measured against the actual vehicle, the kit is a 1: 8 scale model.
It also features scissor doors that open to reveal the vehicle’s luxurious interior, including a fully functional 8-speed sequential gearbox and activated by a movable gear lever. Plus, the front hood can be opened to reveal a stylish Lamborghini duffle bag and a unique serial number that unlocks special content on the LEGO page.
In addition, the V12 engine is replicated in the smaller version. The front wheels are moved via the steering wheel; there is no so-called “hand-of-god” control using the button behind the roof.
The Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 was first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019, and only 63 life-size models are being produced, so this is an opportunity to be part of the power and magic that the model projects.
LEGO Group and Automobili Lamborghini worked closely together to capture the DNA of car design, discovering that both teams share a common passion: engineering, with the same fascination for detail, shape, and function that it requires.
It was announced that the model will be available directly from LEGO online stores from June 1st, then in many retailers globally from August 1st, 2020. The recommended price that was released is $379.99.
