MANSORY, the famous German company that deals with the tuning of high-end cars, has presented its vision of the American supercar Ford GT, under the name ‘Le MANSORY. ‘ The exclusive model, which is limited to only three copies worldwide, forms another special edition on the occasion of MANSORY ‘s 30th anniversary in 2020.
MANSORY has significantly retouched both the aesthetics and the technique of the Ford GT. It is completely made of carbon fiber bodywork with certainly sporty lines, but still softer and more refined than those of the original GT. This replica of the Ford GT has a more risky and exaggerated design, with a readapted hood, a triple exhaust outlet, a new set of LED headlights, and a wider rear. The track width is also enlarged – 5 cm more for the Ford GT Le MANSORY.
There are several other unpublished elements on this tuning: side skirts, carbon fiber mirrors, enlarged air intakes on the roof, 21-inch forged alloy wheels and high-performance Continental Sport Contact 6 tires, an aggressive rear spoiler. The interiors have taken a luxurious turn. It now boasts Alcantara fabric upholstery, white leather, and black Alcantara upholstered seats, numerous carbon-fiber trims, blue details, and stitching, among other details.
The new GT Le MANSORY has a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, mounted in the central position, that originally generated 655 hp but thanks to the modifications it received, it now offers a power of 710 hp, as well as a torque of 840 Nm. The increase in power and aerodynamic improvements also ensure that the top speed of this Ford GT Le MANSORY reaches 354 km/h (220 mph) – standard: 347 km/h (215.6 mph) – almost effortlessly.
The price and availability of the Ford GT Le MANSORY have not been revealed, but taking into account the modifications, the amount of carbon fiber (which is not exactly cheap), and the exclusivity of the car, we are sure it will be suitable for few pockets.
