A New York-based company FEELREAL, Inc. has designed the Feelreal Multisensory VR Mask. When attached with your VR headset, it gives you a full sensory experience in your VR environment. From smell to temperature to vibration, you’ll have all your senses firing as you dive into new worlds.

The mask is beautifully designed to be as lightweight and as easy to use as possible. It weighs only 7oz (200g) and uses a magnetic mount to firmly attach itself to your headset. After attaching the magnetic mount system, simply insert your scent cartridges, snap on the mask, and you’re all set to go! The mask uses Bluetooth or WiFi to connect with your headset so no wires are needed.

Additionally, it comes compatible with most existing VR headsets, like the Oculus Rift and Go, Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. Also, the Mask is equipped with a replaceable top cover that exactly fits the dimensions of your VR headset. It is available in white, gray, and black colors!

The team has developed a reliable scent generator, that holds an easily replaceable cartridge, containing 9 individual aroma capsules. Choose and combine any of the 255 scents available! Install and change them depending on your VR experience.

But it does not just smell!

Along with providing various odors, the VR mask delivers other inputs to the user:

  • Water Mist: It comes with an ultrasonic ionizing system that imitates rain and mist. It makes you feel the rain on your cheeks.
  • Cold Wind: Twin micro-coolers designed to create wind and cool down your face after intense game rounds. Enjoy the cool mountain breeze!
  • Heat: Safe micro-heaters will allow you to sense the warmth dragon’s breath or desert air.
  • Vibrations: Also, like most controllers nowadays, there are haptic motors inside that vibrate. It enhances your games and experiences with lifelike punches, earthquakes, and rumble of a sports car on the track.
