Evoke Motorcycles, a Beijing-based manufacturer of smart electric motorcycles has presented the final design of the Evoke 6061, an electric power cruiser.
The Evoke 6061 uses a new, liquid-cooled electric motor, developed by the company itself, capable of delivering up to 120 kW (161 hp) of power. The motor allows the motorcycle to reach 230 km/h (143 mph) of maximum speed.
The battery that powers it, with a capacity of 24.8 kWh, also has a liquid cooling system and fast charging. It promises 0-80% of the charge in just 15 minutes and offers a city range of up to 470 km (292 miles) and a highway range of 265 km (165 miles).
The temperature of its battery is regulated by a liquid cooling system. And so it only takes 15 minutes to refuel from 0 to 80%, or 25 km per minute of charging. The tires will not have time to cool down as the battery will already be ready to hit the road!
This autonomy, combined with a fast-charging system capable of reaching up to 125 kW of power, suggests the possibility of traveling on an electric motorcycle like this one. Additionally, for the linked charging at home, the bike also includes an on-board charger of just 1.8 kW that will be able to charge the battery at night when there is no rush to do so.
The Evoke 6061 can now be reserved through the manufacturer’s website, for a refundable deposit of $5,000. The total price will be $24,995. Initially, the manufacturer will only market 100 units of the ‘6061 Signature Series,’ a limited edition that includes a characteristic color scheme with copper-colored wheels, an ‘electro copper’ color frame, and leather front and rear seats with custom stitching.
