EmbraerX Pulse Concept combines the world of aviation with automotive

The fantasy surrounding flying cars has fascinated humanity for decades, fueled by comic books, science fiction books, TV shows, and movies. We have seen a lot of flying car concepts from different manufacturers so far.

Now have a look at the EmbraerX Pulse concept. The whole concept looks like it came from a science fiction movie. This is the idea of EmbraerX, the Brazil-based flying taxi start-up, that shows us how the world of aviation can be combined with automotive.

Passengers choose the destination and the system takes care of everything else.

The Pulse eVTOL concept acts as an air taxi, with autonomous movement, transporting the passengers to their chosen destinations. Designed as part of a multi-mode transport solution, the flying car concept docks and lands on a ground vehicle after moving passengers from Skyport to Skyport. It offers amenities and complete information on points of interest and other information about the place, city, or event they are attending. Everything is done in luxury, in a cabin of high aesthetics.

As you can see in the video published by the company, the glass cabin in the flying taxi slides onto an ultra-luxury electric vehicle skateboard platform. The cabin can thus switch from a flying taxi to a land vehicle, in order to automatically transport its passengers to their final destination.

Everything is done autonomously, without human intervention, and without the passengers having to get in and out. Passengers choose the destination, and the system takes care of everything else.

It is a given that we will have to wait long enough to see something similar come true. And there are many problems that need to be solved before it becomes anything close to reality. To begin with, launch at least one unmanned aerial taxi network, such as those developed by the Chinese EHang or the German Lilium. Nevertheless, fantasizing about this subject is undoubtedly pleasant.
