The University of Seville is getting ready to launch its fusion reactor, SMART, which generates energy using plasma. Researchers from the U.S. Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) are collaborating to make this technology a reliable energy source. PPPL is assisting with SMART’s design, magnetics, and sensors, utilizing a special plasma shape called “negative triangularity”.
