Using advanced computer methods, experts identified the genes that make cholera bacteria dangerous. This breakthrough could help control the disease. Led by Professor Tania Dottorini, in collaboration with Bangladeshi researchers, the study combined machine learning and genetics. Cholera affects millions, and in Bangladesh alone, 66 million people are at risk.
