Under the bright halls of Mobile World Congress 2026, pureLiFi showed off a wireless idea that literally runs on light. Its LiFi High-Bandwidth Architecture transmits data via visible light rather than radio waves, linking outdoor broadband to indoor networks. One device, the Bridge XC Flex, can beam internet through a window, no drilling required. Speeds could theoretically reach 10Gbps. If it works at scale, broadband installs might become quicker, cheaper, and a lot brighter.
