KIMM develops seawater-based self-charging energy harvester

KIMM researchers have developed an innovative “energy harvester,” capable of continuously producing electrical energy by utilizing the movement of the sodium ions contained in seawater. It is anticipated that this technology will find applications as a source technology in a wide range of sectors, including water-based energy harvesting and eco-friendly energy technologies.
