A new study shows that menopause symptoms, like hot flashes, can last longer than expected, leading to more research on the long-term effects of hormone therapy. Findings suggest certain estrogen-based therapies may reduce heart disease risk. The study, using WHI data, found CEE alone and CEE plus MPA improved heart health markers, except triglycerides.
