A study from Duke Cancer Institute revealed that estrogens not only promote the growth of breast cancers with receptors but also fuel cancers without them, including triple-negative breast cancer. Estrogens weaken the immune system’s ability to fight tumors and reduce the effectiveness of immunotherapy.
