Osaka Metropolitan University researchers have developed a deicing mixture offering higher performance than deicers on the market while having less environmental impact. Their machine learning analysis revealed that a blend of propylene glycol and aqueous sodium formate solution demonstrated the most effective ice penetration capacity, surpassing other deicers on the market.
