BMW has pulled the wraps off the next-generation iX3, and it’s more than a routine EV update. The SUV rides on the company’s new Neue Klasse platform, packing an 800-volt system that can push 400 kW DC charging; enough for a 10–80% refill in about 21 minutes. Dual motors deliver around 463 hp. Inside, a sweeping Panoramic iDrive and centralized computing hint at BMW’s shift toward software-defined electric cars.
